Serengeti Rain

The plains of Serengeti are something I will never forget.  
The soft amber and green grasses blowing in the wind, soon to be left behind by the migration of the wildebeest and other African wildlife for greener pastures.
While traversing this beautiful landscape, the wind began to pick up and a massive rainstorm blew across the plains in our path.
The rain made the grassy plains pop with color. I positioned myself to take this shot just as the sun peaked through to light up the background. I snapped the shot, as rain began to pour, christening my camera and lens. This moment moved my soul as I began to sing, “I blessed the rains down in Africa...”
